On September 14, a delegation of the Estonian Aviation Academy visited the TTK University of Applied Sciences (TTK). The purpose of the meeting was
to get acquainted with the organisation and its teaching, to get a better overview of their material and technical base, and
to explore the possibilities for cooperation in the field of teaching and conducting student projects.
Rector Koit Kaskel, Head of the Aeronautical Engineering Department Karl-Eerik Unt, Acting Head of the Aviation Management Department Kristjan Roosipõld, and Vice Rector for Education Triinu Soomere visited TTK.
The Aviation Management Department has further plans to meet with representatives of TTK's logistics department and discuss various cooperation opportunities. In particular, co-operation opportunities are seen in relation to faculty sharing, joint projects, and simulation-based learning. The Department of Aeronautical Engineering is exploring opportunities for cooperation in the development of electronics and mechatronics studies. Shell Eco Marathon competition is starting. TTK has been invited to visit the academy, and the upcoming meeting will focus on educational cooperation with the participation of training managers and coordinators.
