Class 1 Medical Examination
Class 1 Medical Examination
If you are not a pilot and you are planning to take the flight training it is mandatory to submit a document certifying a valid European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Class 1 medical examination in accordance with Commission Regulation (EU) No 1178/2011.
You can get your Class 1 medical examination done in Estonia or any other EASA Member State. You should be able to find the list of Aero-medical centres (AeMCs) on Competent Authorities’ web-sites for each Member State. The list of Member States and links to the competent authorities websites can be found on our website under 'EASA by Country'
Acceptable documentation to exclude Pilot Aptitude Testing
If you submit copies of your licences or pilot training documentation then the Commission may decide to dismiss the Applicant from the Pilot Aptitude Test and give maximum points for the Pilot Aptitude Test. Documentation is assessed case-by-case, but should fall into one of the following categories:
CPL(A) / CPL(H) licence with ATPL theory endorsement or ATPL(A)/ATPL(H) licence issued in accordance with Commission Regulation (EU) No 1178/2011; or
CPL(A) / CPL(H) licence with ATPL theory endorsement or ATPL(A)/ATPL(H) licence issued in accordance with ICAO standards; or
training documentation which proves that the Applicant has passed CPL(A)/CPL(H) training course with ATPL theory.
