Studies are regulated by the study regulations of the Estonian Aviation Academy.
The academic year usually starts in September and ends in June, exact dates are published for each academic year in the academic calendar.
Studies are carried out in accordance with study programmes. One ECTS credit corresponds to 26 hours of study by a student (including contact hours carried out as lectures, seminars or practical training, examinations and independent work).
A study programme is a document which sets out the objectives of the studies, learning outcomes, the nominal duration and volume of studies, the language of instruction, the list of the courses, the options and conditions for selecting subjects, specialities and the conditions for the completion of studies. When drawing up study programmes, it has been assumed that a student acquires 60 ECTS credits per academic year.
