Help aircrafts to the skies

The aviation field is primarily evolving worldwide through advancements in aviation technology.
This industry encompasses the production of aircraft and their components, unmanned and green aviation, and the development of innovative software solutions.

The Aeronautical Engineering curriculum consists of two highly important directions:

Students apply for the Aeronautical Engineering curriculum and choose the specialisation after the first year.

PROGRAMME DETAILS

This curriculum is taught exclusively in Estonian in a form of daytime studies. The study period is 4 years, and if one studies full-time, the study is free.

We welcome foreign students through Erasmus+ programme or to study in our international programmes.

CURRICULUM

Aircraft engineers are involved in the design, development, and maintenance of manned and unmanned aircraft, their components, and communication systems.

Since the design, testing, and safe operation of aircraft require comprehensive knowledge in various engineering fields, aircraft engineers typically specialize in a specific area, such as aerodynamics, aircraft structures, engines, avionics systems, manufacturing, operational procedures, continuous airworthiness, or maintenance.

About the studies

POST-STUDY
Upon graduation, the alumnus will have acquired broad-based engineering skills and have various career options in the aviation industry. One of many future jobs can be, for example, aircraft mechanical or electronics engineer, who is involved in the design, development and manufacturing technology of mechanical and electrical systems for both manned and unmanned aircraft. Higher education also supports the path of becoming a team-leader of different engineering projects and organizing maintenance work on aircraft.
Aviation, the field where extraordinary people are working, was a great childhood dream of mine. Commencing my studies at the Estonian Aviation Academy was the first step on the career ladder in the aviation. In addition to the diploma, I learned that despite some setbacks you need to take risks and consistently pursue your goals.
