Study information system (SIS) used at the academy is Tahvel.
- In the study system Tahvel you can register for courses, see the results, and submit the application for academic leave or RPL/APEL.
- HarID has to use students who don't have an Estonian ID code (get access to Tahvel). Students will receive an invitation to HarID. Students are asked to fill out the necessary information and create an account in HarID.

E-mail
EAVA e-mail addresses are typically written as firstname.lastname@eava.ee.
All our students have e-mail addresses and Gmail-based mailboxes if the user wants. Users can also forward e-mails to preferred addresses if he/she so chooses.
If the user's name has any accented characters (ie Õ, Ü, Ž, etc) then those will be replaced with the character without an accent mark. When the same e-mail address already exists, then the newer address will have a number in the end (firstname.lastname.1@eava.ee) to make it unique.
When the student has completed all the studies at EAVA, after 1 month period, the @eava.ee mailbox and e-mail address will be closed and removed by the IT department. If the user wants, then it's possible to copy all the e-mails from the @eava.ee account to the user's preferred account. Instructions can be found
here (in Estonian).
Printing, scanning and copying
Students can use the printer found in the second-floor lobby, next to the elevator. For printing, the students can use the computer next to the printer. It's possible to scan documents by e-mail.
If there are any technical issues, then contact the IT department in room B207 or write an e-mail to
it@eava.ee.
Wi-Fi
EAVA public Wi-Fi (AvaKosmos) is present in our main study building, UAS laboratory, and hangar.
Computer classroom (room C103)
Students have to use their personal EAVA domain accounts to sign in to EAVA computers (including computer classrooms). If needed, then teachers can and will use different accounts to sign in students (exams, limited access software, etc)
MS Office 365
EAVA students have access to MS Office 365 software. With one account, the software can be used on up to 5 devices.
If the student doesn't have access to MS Office 365, then please contact the IT department via e-mail at it@eava.ee. Usually, those accounts are created when students' accounts are created and the information can be found on their @eava.ee inbox.
MATLAB software
EAVA students and staff have access to MATLAB software for education purposes (commercial use prohibited). To get access to MATLAB, you need to have @eava.ee e-mail address. Visit the
MathWorks website and create a new account, you can download and install MATLAB software on your personal computer.
