Estonian Aviation Academy was awarded with the title The Deed of the Year in Estonian Aviation
On Friday, 15 November the Estonian Aviation Seminar took place and also the title The Deed of the Year in Estonian Aviation was awarded to Estonian Aviation Academy. The academy won the competition with their nominee “Successful Launch of Student Projects: the Example of Blue Sparrow”.
As a university of applied sciences, the Estonian Aviation Academy places a strong emphasis on practical applications, ensuring that students can reinforce their theoretical knowledge by tackling real-life and creative challenges. With this goal in mind, more extensive student projects were introduced in 2023. A great example of this is this year’s student project, Blue Sparrow, which participated in an international competition for the first time this summer and returned home with impressive results in its debut year. The competition The Deed of the Year in Estonian Aviation has been held under the leadership of Estonian Aviation Academy from 2005. The aim of the competition is to recognize Estonian aviation enterprises or organizations achievements and contribution to developing Estonian aviation sector. Previously, the nominee was chosen by a committee, formed by the Academy.
Other nominees were Estonian Air Navigation Services and Magnetic Group.
