The focus of the second training session supporting research
and development, shortly R&D was on the qualitative research methodology.
Training day started with introduction to the qualitative research methods, continued with the methods of data collecting and in the finish of the day the qualitative research methodology’s data analysis workshop took place.
This time the Trainer was Piret Luik, who is an Associate Professor in Didactics of Informatics at University of Tartu, Institute of Computer Science. Everyone at EAVA is welcome to participate and it does not matter whether the experience in R&D is little, long or the idea of getting involved in R&D activities has emerged recently. Furthermore, these training sessions are extremely beneficial for those who supervise our students’ final theses!
The next training on February 10 will focus on the theory and practice of quantitative methodology.
