Estonian Aviation Academy has been a member of the Erasmus family since 2008. In addition, Estonian Aviation Academy has participated in a variety of other exchange programs.
Would you believe that 18 foreign exchange students are currently studying at a school as small as Estonian Aviation Academy? Yes, it is true – students from countries such as Czech Republic, Switzerland, Portugal, Turkey, Lithuania, Slovakia, Belgium and Poland have possibly made one of their biggest life decisions by moving to Estonia for an exchange semester at Estonian Aviation Academy. This shows that our cooperation partners and international students trust us, despite the current world situation.
As our institution is small, these 18 students make up over 7% of the entire student population, and up to 30% of a first course! As a result, we can hear English language all over the study building and this creates a truly international feeling.
Feedback over many years has shown that the reasons for choosing Estonian Aviation Academy are quite consistent– the variety of different aviation courses (we teach all disciplines that aviation requires), the quality of the studies and the great city of Tartu. Many students did not have a clue where Estonia was located, or how life is here, but positive surprises have led to recommendations spreading from student to student.
