The election for the Rector of the Academy has been announced
The rector is responsible for the overall condition and development of the Academy, as well as the lawful and efficient use of financial resources. Additionally, the rector serves as the general manager of the aviation training unit within the academy.

The rector will be elected by a 7-member electoral body, which includes two representatives from the Ministry of Education and Research, two members of the academy’s council (one of whom represents the students), two members of the advisory board, and one representative from an affiliated organization.
The term of office for the rector is five years, commencing on January 1, 2025.
The current rector, Koit Kaskel, began his term in January 2020.
