Airport operator shall act according to several requirements that come from regulation but at the same time deliver perfect services to their customers – to air operators and passengers. This demands a qualified staff whose knowledge is up to date. Estonian Aviation Academy provides several training courses that focus on regulations and broaden knowledge of the staff accordingly. In addition, an opportunity to model business and logistics processes using a specific modeling software as well as various analysis for assessing the feasibility, profitability and impact of planned projects are available.
The Estonian Aviation Academy offers the opportunity to model various processes using SIMIO software. In the simulation environment, it is possible to model, for example, the airport environment (incl. facilities, apron, runway), passenger movement, aircraft and passenger service, and the movement of service machines, taking into account service volumes and flight schedules. Similarly, business and transportation processes can be modeled as well. The aim of modeling is more optimal and efficient planning of infrastructure, various work tasks and resources.
The participant will gain knowledge of the basics and principles of safety and quality management systems used in aviation. The training is intended for people who have already started or are just starting to work in the aviation sector, who do not have an aviation education or who want to update their theoretical knowledge of aviation.

Those who successfully pass the exam will receive both an IATA certificate and a certificate of completion of training at the Estonian Aviation Academy.
